Please allow an extra 1/8″ on all sides if your brochure bleeds (or prints to the edge of the sheet). See Bleed Specifications and panel sizes below. Be sure your front panel is just a bit bigger to allow for the correct folding. What is Bleed? In printing, bleed is printing that goes beyond the edge of where the sheet will be trimmed. In other words, the bleed is the area to be trimmed off. The bleed is the part on the side of a document that gives the printer a small amount of space to account for movement of the paper, and design inconsistencies. We prefer a bleed of 1/8″ inch on each side that will print off the edge of the paper. Artwork Bleed Specifications If your image extends to the edge of the paper, (bleed) is required of .125″ (1/8-inch) on all sides.
